What Is the Tulane Volunteer Research Registry?

The Tulane Volunteer Research Registry is a secure, community-focused platform designed to connect individuals in the Greater New Orleans area with clinical research opportunities.

Funded by Tulane University and the Louisiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Center (LA CaTS), the registry serves as a bridge between researchers and people who are interested in participating in studies that advance science and improve health outcomes.

Why Should You Consider Participating in Research?

Clinical research is essential for developing new treatments, improving existing therapies, and understanding health conditions. By joining a research study, you are making a meaningful contribution to science and potentially helping others who face similar medical conditions.

Participation may include activities like surveys, blood tests, imaging, or trying new medications under close supervision. Before you enroll in any study, researchers will provide you with all necessary information—including possible risks—so you can make an informed decision.
