Medical Students with Disability and Chronic Illness (MSDCI) at the Tulane University School of Medicine was founded to achieve two goals: To support and advocate for medical students with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses; and to educate the community at large on the issues and experiences of medical students and patients with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses in order to promote a more understanding and accommodating learning and clinical environment.
