The Tulane University School of Medicine Section of General Pediatrics is committed to excellence in research, education and the clinical care of infants, children and young adults. Our Pediatricians provide a range of services, from well-child care and basic childhood immunizations and illnesses to managing complex medical conditions and chronic disorders. We work hand-in-hand with all pediatric specialists at Children's Hospital New Orleans in order facilitate for patients.
The section has a commitment to treat children from diverse backgrounds and cultures. In addition to translation services, Tulane Pediatrics provides a comprehensive primary medical care clinic for pediatrics patients who prefer to receive health services in Spanish.

Effect of Music Therapy on Neonates-research study focused on determining the biological and behavioral effects of music therapy on newborns, ranging from healthy term infants to those exposed to medications and other drugs prior to birth.

Project DigIt-AAP supported: Implementing processes and strategies to support earlier detection of intellectual and global developmental delays.
Project QDHD-AAP supported: Enhancing adolescent adherence to the 2011 AAP ADHD guidelines for young children aged 4-11 yrs old.
