About Us
TRIO Members
The TRIO is a faculty-led review group within the School of Medicine Professionalism Program responsible for the timely, consistent, and thoughtful review of de-identified professionalism concerns reported. Within 48 hours of receipt, TRIO members review de-identified concerns and triage them using established algorithms and professional judgment to ensure fair, proportionate, and appropriate follow-up. The TRIO considers concerns in context, identifies patterns over time, and recommends next steps when needed, including peer messenger cup of coffee outreach, escalation, or referral to appropriate offices. In addition to individual case review, the TRIO evaluates concerns in aggregate to inform program improvements, support educational outreach, and contribute to a respectful, professional, and psychologically safe learning and working environment across the School of Medicine.
