To provide support and encouragement for medical students to participate in research during their medical training
- Offers summer stipends for medical students to participate in 8-weeks of intensive research between their first and second year of medical school;
- Facilitates interactions among the students and faculty;
- Delivers guidance in generating the measurable outputs of research productivity (abstracts, presentations, posters, papers) through attendance at a summer enrichment program.
