LA CaTS Level I Clinical Research Coordinator Training

2025 Date: Friday 3/2/2025 In-Person and via Zoom

The goal of the LA CaTS Level I Research Coordinator Training Program is to create comprehensive high-integrity research coordinator training that promotes career paths in research. This training is held annually and covers the basic concepts required to successfully coordinate a research study and provide an overview of the research resources and regulatory requirements for conducting clinical research. Application of concepts to drug/device trials, as well as non-drug/device trials, is discussed. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with experienced coordinators and program staff from across LA CaTS institutions and other institutions as well. This event is FREE and open to all LA CaTS institutions and clinical research professionals nationally and internationally. Participants will receive an LA CaTS certificate for completing the program.

LA CaTS Level II Clinical Research Coordinator Training

2025 Date: 6/5/2025 In Person and via Zoom

The goal of the LA CaTS Level II Research Coordinator Training Program is to provide more advanced training to research coordinators.  This interactive training session is held annually and consists of case study presentations and discussions with PI mentors. Small groups discuss the case studies, while PI mentors and experts from IRB, clinical research, compliance, and legal are available to offer guidance to the groups. Participants will receive an LA CaTS certificate for completing the program. Occurs annually.

LA CaTS Level III Clinical Research Coordinator Training

2025 Date: TBD In Person and via Zoom

The LA CaTS Level 3 Research Coordinator Training Program is our latest addition to our coordinator training program. The goal of the program is to provide the most advanced training to research coordinators. This event is FREE and open to all LA CaTS institutions. Participants will receive an LA CaTS certificate for completing the program. Occurs annually.
