Welcome to the Tulane Doctors Specialty Psychiatry Clinic! This clinic aims to provide cutting-edge specialized mental health services for specific members of the New Orleans community.

The Tulane Doctors Specialty Psychiatry Clinic home to two programs, one for first episode psychosis and the other for peripartum mental health. This clinic is led by Dr. Ashley Weiss, Director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry and Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Tulane University School of Medicine.

The Early Psychosis Intervention Program, New Orleans (EPIC-NOLA) is a coordinated specialty care model based on evidence-based treatments for those first experiencing psychosis. The team provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of adolescents and young adults who have recently begun experiencing psychosis, which is often associated with emerging schizophrenia. Its’ interdisciplinary team of experts provide diagnosis and treatment planning, including medication management, psychotherapy for individuals and families, as well as group therapy, and peer support specialization. Since its inception in August 2015, EPIC-NOLA has evaluated nearly 300 patients is actively serving over 100 patients. This program is led by Ashley Weiss, DO, MPH, and Serena Chaudhry, DSW.
