Cancer center lobbyThe New Orleans Comprehensive Cancer Clinic presents an individualized approach to care which includes services available through psychosocial, nutritional, nursing, Arts In Medicine (AIM), spiritual, and survivorship. Tulane has an Oncology Nurse Navigator who will assist patients in navigating their course through their treatment journey. Tulane’s Comprehensive Cancer Clinic received recognition from The Commission On Cancer (COC) of American College of Surgeons for achieving excellence in providing quality cancer care. COC awards Cancer Programs who meet specified Oncology Standards to ensure patients have access to the full scope of services required to diagnose, treat, rehabilitate and support patients with cancer and their families. This recognition and accreditation affirms the commitment of the program to provide excellence in Cancer Care.

Oncology Conference

A multidisciplinary group of physicians participate in ongoing conferences that bring together a diverse group of specialists that analyze and review individual patient cases. These Conferences are conducted in an effort to enhance the safety and effectiveness of each patient’s treatment. Participants include Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, Social Workers, Nurses, Researchers and other Specialists.
