Volunteers, service learners, interns, and practicum students from Tulane Medical School and Tulane University, as well as the community at large, make up the Music Mends program. Musicians act as “Live Jukeboxes,” playing music for patients undergoing chemotherapy and transfusions. This ranges from soothing to upbeat, lively music.
