Dr. Kristen Limbach
Welcome to the Group on Workforce in Medicine and Science (GWIMS) Chapter at Tulane School of Medicine! GWIMS is an accredited AAMC Affinity Group with the mission to advance the full and successful participation of faculty and staff in all roles of academic medicine. Tulane’s GWIMS chapter was established in August 2018 with support from the Tulane SOM Dean's Office. It seeks to promote career advancement for faculty and staff in medicine and science by providing opportunities for recognition, mentorship, and networking and by creating space for dialogue around these issues. In addition, the Tulane GWIMS chapter seeks to support the wellness and personal wellbeing of all members of the SOM. We are proud to serve as a resource and provide guidance for search committees, deans, and department chairs to promote inclusive faculty recruitment and career advancement practices.
We invite you to join us in this mission! Tulane GWIMS is open to ALL trainees, staff, and faculty. Join today!
