Urinary incontinence is not a normal part of aging, according to Margie A Kahn, MD, Clinical Associate Professor and section head of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology at Tulane's School of Medicine. Many women suffer from incontinence or pelvic floor disorders in silence. Often these conditions occur from childbirth, aging and at times medical problems. Tulane addresses all pelvic floor disorders, including fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. We have an experienced and sensitive team that understands most women are embarrassed to bring up these problems, and may have had them ignored if they did so.Read More
