What is the White Coat Ceremony?
Tulane medical students' careers begin with the White Coat Ceremony, which defines the commitment and dedication they have made to their patients and themselves as they enter medical school. At the White Coat Ceremony, students will receive a white coat, compliments of the Tulane Medical School Bookstore.
Do you need tickets to the White Coat Ceremony?
Yes, admission is by ticket only. Each student is allowed 4 guests. Tickets will be distributed to the students at Orientation on Friday, August 2 and will also include a required ticket for the incoming student.
What should I wear to the White Coat Ceremony?
Please be advised that the White Coat Ceremony is a formal occasion. Students should dress professionally for the occasion. Women should wear dresses or suits; men should wear dress slacks with shirt and tie.
