Deming Department of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine encompasses leading clinical, educational and research programs for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. We offer comprehensive heart and vascular clinical care at locations in Metairie at the Tulane Doctors Heart & Vascular Clinic on Veterans Memorial Boulevard and downtown New Orleans at the Tulane Medical Center, the University Medical Center, and the Southeast Louisiana Veteran’s Healthcare System.

The Section of Cardiology's nationally recognized clinical faculty members are dedicated to the education and training of physicians in Cardiovascular Diseases. Our faculty members are leaders of research and development in their sub-specialties, often sharing their knowledge by lecturing around the country regarding the latest methods of treating cardiac and peripheral artery disease.
