Yes. You will receive an ATLS completion certificate and a wallet sized card, in addition to a CME certificate. Be sure the spelling of your name on your registration form matches your desired spelling on these certificates.
ATLS Provider courses at Tulane are limited to 16 students, and Refresher courses are 16 students, based on the order of completed enrollment (registration and payment).
All Provider and Refresher students will receive the 10th edition of the ATLS Student Manual in order to prepare for the course. The cost of this manual and standard shipping is already included in the registration. For international shipping, ensure that you select the option that includes the shipping cost.
Upon receipt of a completed registration form and payment, students will be emailed a confirmation that they are enrolled in the course date they selected.
All enrolled students will be emailed a Welcome Letter that will include all the information needed for the course date, including, times, course location, etc. Courses will include light breakfast and lunch and beverages throughout the day.
Changes to enrollment done prior to 3 weeks before the course date will be accepted with no fee. Changes to course dates made within 2 weeks of the enrolled course date will require a 15% late fee to secure a new date. All ATLS course registration fees include a portion of non-refundable fees. Any cancellations will be based on the following schedule:
$100 non-refundable fee, regardless of the timing of the cancellation.
$200 total non-refundable fee, if canceled after ATLS book is shipped.
Any cancellations within five days of an ATLS course require approval, and refunds are not guaranteed.
Cancellations to enrollment made more than 2 weeks prior to the course date will be accepted. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the enrolled date will be charged a 25% late fee (only 75% of the registration fee will be refunded). The Refresher course (1 day) is an update course for any student who has already successfully taken the 2-day Provider course. A refresher must be taken prior to the 4 year expiration on ATLS certification or within the 6 month grace period. 4 years and 6 months after the Provider course date is the maximum time allowed. After this date, students will need to repeat the full 2-day Provider course. ATLS ID number must be provided at registration, as previous course dates must be confirmed.
