Our didactic curriculum is organized by PGY year, beginning with the fundamentals of psychiatric diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and introductory psychotherapy. Each module builds on the last, preparing you to deliver the best evidence-based care for your patients. Formal didactics take place two half-days per week, with additional intensive psychotherapy training and case discussions in PGY-3.
At Tulane, learning extends well beyond the classroom. Our diverse training sites provide daily opportunities for teaching, both formal and informal, from dedicated physician faculty.
