- Med-Peds Rapid Response Simulations biannually
- BAYOU (Behavioral and mental health for Adolescents and Young adults with Opioid Use and other stressors) Bridges curriculum in Mental and Behavioral Health in the primary care setting
Other opportunities for professional growth at Tulane Med-Peds include:
- Faculty Round Tables cover Professional Development topics like job and fellowship applications, legal aspects of medicine, quality improvement and work-life balance
- Our Social and Wellness Committee organizes regular activities for residents and faculty throughout the year.
- Annual Med-Peds Retreat where we all get together to have fun and discuss program improvements for the coming year.
- Opportunities to engage in Quality Improvement (QI) projects throughout residency.
- Each resident is assigned a personal coach through the Clinical Competency Committee.
- Program Director has "Coffee Talk" appointments available year-round for mentorship and professional development on an as-needed basis.
