Subspecialty Training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism
ACGME Accredited Two-Year Program
The Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology offers an ACGME accredited two-year fellowship program exposing training physicians to a full complement of patient care, teaching, and research opportunities at the completion of which trainees are subspecialty board eligible. The program is available to qualified applicants who wish to pursue an academic or clinical career in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
Clinical and in-patient training takes place at these affiliated teaching facilities: University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO; state facility), East Jefferson General Hospital (EJGH; private facility), and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (VA; federal facility). At the present time, the program provides positions for four fellows.
