Sections & Specialties

General Obstetrics and Gynecology is taught in nearly all the rotations during the four years of residency. The Obstetrics and Gynecology rotation may either be 4 weeks of combined Obstetrics & Gynecology or devoted to either Obstetrics or Gynecology. The house officer is responsible for the coordination of care for all of the patients on the service, which includes obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and uro-gynecology patients. The level of responsibility increases with resident year with the overall goal to allow the resident to develop autonomy in patient care.Read More
