The Tulane Medical Center is a hospital located in downtown New Orleans. The Tulane Medical Center has centers covering nearly all major specialties of medicine and is the primary teaching hospital for the Tulane University School of Medicine. Rotations at Tulane Medical Center are surgical pathology, autopsy, cytopathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, blood bank/transfusion medicine, microbiology, and cytogenetics.

Rotation at UMCNO is surgical pathology.
The Ochsner Medical Center is a hospital located in Jefferson, LA. Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine plays an integral role in the diagnosis and management of patients with cancer. The Ochsner Pathology Department is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. Rotation at Ochsner Medical Center is autopsy.
Children’s Hospital New Orleans is the only hospital dedicated exclusively to caring for children has more than 400 physicians and 2,000 employees committed to providing expert care just for kids. Senior Resident rotate at Children’s Pathology. Rotations are pediatric pathology and clinical pathology.
The West Jefferson Medical Center is a 451-bed community hospital located in Marrero, LA. It is located just 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans in a region known as the Westbank. Established in 1956, West Jefferson Medical Center is situated near vast industrial and maritime corridors. Rotation at West Jeff is microbiology.
Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office Pathology department is made up of a group of highly trained professionals including forensic Pathologists, Death investigators and Morgue Technicians whose primary function is to determine cause and manner of death. Rotation at JPCO is forensic pathology.
