Mission:
Our mission is to nurture the emotional and psychological well-being of young children from birth through age eight, by providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. We partner with families and caregivers to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes healthy development, strengthens early relationships, and builds the foundation for lifelong resilience and wellbeing.
Who we serve?
Children ages 0-8 years and their families, referred due to behavior problems, depression, anxiety, and/or trauma. We provide services to families in English and Spanish.
Evidenced-Based Mental Health Treatment:
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an intervention to address behavioral problems in young children, such as defiance, tantrums, and aggression. Caregivers learn to reinforce appropriate behavior and set reasonable limits with support and encouragement from the clinician, who provides in-the-moment coaching.
Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is an intervention for children ages birth through five years and their caregivers. CPP helps families heal and grow from stressful or traumatic experiences (e.g., maltreatment, sudden or traumatic death of someone close, a serious accident, sexual abuse, exposure to domestic violence). The primary goal is to support and strengthen the relationship between a child and his/her parent or caregiver to repair the child’s sense of safety, attachment, and emotion regulation.
ABC Intervention (Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up) is a 10-session intervention for children ages 6 months to 2 years and their caregivers. ABC helps caregivers provide, nurturing, responsive care that supports children’s development of secure attachment, self-regulation, and healthy stress response systems.
Trauma-Focused CBT is a 12-session treatment for children ages 3-8 years, who have experienced trauma and are exhibiting trauma-related symptoms such as nightmares, hypervigilance, increased fearfulness or irritability, etc. Trauma-Focused CBT helps children develop coping skills to manage the distressing thoughts and feelings related to the traumatic event(s). The protocol calls for the participation of a safe caregiver in treatment.
Circle of Security Parenting (COS) is a relationship-based early intervention model, designed to strengthen attachment and promote secure parent-child relationships. It is especially helpful for caregivers who are struggling to respond to their child’s behaviors or emotional needs.

We accept self-pay, insurance, and Medicaid.
