Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a section of the Tulane Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and works in conjunction with the Department of Pediatrics.

Tulane's section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty and staff trained at many outstanding programs in the country, including Tulane. United in values and committed to excellence, they bring diverse perspectives to bear on the problems of children and adolescents and their families. In addition to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, our faculty and staff have backgrounds in other fields, including Pediatrics, Nursing, Clinical, Developmental and Cultural Psychology, Genetics, Public Health, Forensics, Social Work, and Sociology. These disciplines enrich the perspective and broaden and deepen the understanding of children and their families.
