Listed below are the faculty membership definitions for the Tulane Cancer Center and the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium.
PROGRAM MEMBER Has highest priority for participating in Center-based applications for grants and contracts and for utilization of the Center's resources. University faculty member with at least one active research program fitting the program objectives of the Center. Principal investigator of at least one research program extramurally funded by agencies recognized by the National Cancer Institute. Active participant in research, education and/or administration of the Center and a leader in promoting its development. |
CONTRIBUTING MEMBER Has priority for participating in Center-based applications for grants and contracts and for utilization of the its resources. University faculty member with at least one active research program fitting the program objectives of the Center. Active participant in research, education and/or administration of the Center and a leader in promoting its development. |
ASSOCIATE MEMBER Has access to the resources of the Center as well as the opportunity to participate in Center-based applications for grants and contracts. University faculty member, member of another educational and/or research institution or organization, or an individual who is interested in at least one of the programs of the Center. |
