The Office of Graduate Medical Education processes MD degree, residency & fellowship verifications for the Tulane University School of Medicine.
- Tulane University Uptown Registrar's Office handles all other verifications not listed above.
- The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) is not affiliated with Tulane's Graduate Medical Education Office (GME). If the NSC is unable to verify a physician, the request must be verified by GME according to our procedures and fees.
All verification requests submitted to the GME office MUST contain the following information:
- Physician's legal name while attending Tulane (i.e. include your Maiden Name, etc)
- Type of degree verification (example: MD degree and/or postgraduate training)
- Graduation or completion date (month/day/year)
- Legibly signed authorization release form if the request is being made by a third party

**ALL REQUESTS WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED AND WILL BE VERIFIED WITHIN A 2-4 WEEK PERIOD BASED ON THE VOLUME OF REQUESTS RECEIVED.
Verifications from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s may take longer to process. Any requests received without the required information will not be processed. Please include an email address for quicker turnaround of verification.
