John Baker, MD, recognized by TREO Foundation

John W. Baker, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery for the Division of MIS/Bariatric Surgery, has been honored with the TREO Foundation LEAD Award for Dr. Ronald Clements Patient Safety and Quality, one of the most prestigious national recognitions in the field of metabolic and bariatric surgery.

The award was presented on Wednesday, June 18, during the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS)  Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and recognizes Dr. Baker’s outstanding leadership, commitment to patient safety, and lasting impact on the profession.

Presented by the TREO Foundation, the official foundation of the ASMBS, this award is reserved for those who exemplify the values of Leadership, Education, Advancement, and Dedication in advancing the field and improving the lives of those affected by obesity.
