Awards & Recognitions

The Pathology Department welcomes Charles Collins, M.D., as a full-time instructor, working in the Pathologists’ Assistant Program.    Dr. Collins brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to advancing the field of pathology.  He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University where he later completed his residency in Pathology, preceded by a residency in Psychiatry at LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans.  He was a staff pathologist at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS and Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula MS.  At Singing River Hospital, he also served as Chair of the Department of Pathology.
