How do I get to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center?

What time do the doors open?
The doors open at 1:00 p.m. The program begins at 2:00 p.m.
Students, faculty and hooders arrive by 1:00 p.m.

Will there be parking available?
Ample parking is available across from the Convention Center for a fee.

Do I need tickets for Graduation?
No. Tickets are not required for Graduation.

Can I take pictures at graduation?
Yes. However, we ask that you remain behind the ropes and return to your seat as soon as possible in order to allow other families and friends to see their graduate.

Is there reserved seating?
There is no reserved seating for guests. Seating is only reserved for graduating student, faculty and hooders.

Handicapped accessibility and seating
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is handicapped accessible. There is a drop area located in front of Hall H. There are designated sections accessible for wheelchairs.

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center does not provide wheelchairs for transportation to and from handicapped seating. If you require a wheel chair, you must provide your own.

Is there a reception or luncheon following the event?
Once the graduation ceremony is over, there will be a dessert reception to follow.
