At the Tulane Section of Allergy and Immunology, our mission is to serve our patients through exceptional clinical care while training the next generation of Allergists and Immunologists. We are committed to cultivating a learning environment where physicians can thrive as specialists, researchers, and educators, ready to advance our field and teach future generations of outstanding physicians. We are proud to:
- Deliver exemplary patient care in our Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology clinics.
- Educate and train exceptional physicians who excel in the scientific and clinical aspects of Allergy and Immunology, focusing on high-quality patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management.
- Support Tulane’s Multi-Organ Transplant Programs through our Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Laboratory, providing essential testing for kidney, liver, heart, and pancreas transplants, as well as bone marrow transplants.

Tulane Allergy & Clinical Immunology Fellowship
The Allergy/Immunology training program at Tulane University School of Medicine is a combined Pediatric-Medicine program with entry tracks for physicians who completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or combined Med-Peds. First year fellows are accepted through the National Residency Matching Program. The program provides a 24-month-long comprehensive clinical training in adult and pediatric allergic and immunologic diseases. The fellowship is structured according to the ACGME Requirements for Residency Education in Allergy and Immunology. The mission of our Allergy/Immunology Fellowship is to train excellent clinical allergists and clinical immunologists capable of treating children and adults from any background.
