Olivia Cornu is an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a Louisiana native. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Louisiana in 2011. She started her nursing career at LSU Health Shreveport in the Medical ICU. In 2013 she started working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in the Surgical and Neurosciences ICU. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2016.  She worked as a Nurse Practitioner for Neurointerventional Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals, treating patients with an array of cerebrovascular conditions. Olivia is a part of the neurocritical care team at Tulane Medical Center.
