Biography

What is your hometown?
Chicago, IL

What are your career goals?
Not 100% sure yet, but I’m thinking med-peds hospitalist! I love taking care of adults and kids in an inpatient setting, but I also like procedures and managing complex patients, so maybe MICU or PICU fellowship one day.

Why Tulane?
It was the feeling I had after my interview day and spending the weekend in New Orleans, which is an incredibly vibrant and culturally-rich city. The people I met here, from my co-residents to faculty members, all made Tulane an easy choice. I had the added benefit of couples matching with my significant other, who is an internal medicine resident in the Air Force.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I’m a runner, huge bookworm, and an even bigger foodie, so I love cooking, baking, and trying out new restaurants/food!

What are the strengths of Tulane’s program?
One of my favorite aspects of our program is our mission and the dedication of our residents and faculty towards service. Every day, I’m blessed to take care of patients in a city that has a great need.
