Itβs already that time again β time for a new group of medical students to rotate through their Pediatrics Clerkship! As we prepare to orient them on Monday, we want to take a moment to remind you of the resources and policies in place to guide you in your teaching endeavors β these are listed below with links. Additionally, Steve, Javier, and I are always happy to answer your questions.

Tulane School of Medicine has overarching Institutional Objectives, and our Pediatrics Clerkship has objectives specific to pediatrics β all objectives are located in our syllabus that you can access here.
Students must log certain clinical encounters during their rotation. The list of required clinical encounters is here.
Residents or faculty are strongly encouraged to observe students taking (all or part of) a history and doing (all or part of) a physical exam. The form on which students log their observed history / physical is here.
