The Tulane Med-Peds Social and Wellness Committee is dedicated to furthering resident wellness by creating opportunities for residents to engage with one another. The committee plans events throughout the year aimed at bringing residents together outside of work to take advantage of everything New Orleans has to offer.
A strong residency program requires input and investment from all stakeholders – above all, residents. Resident engagement in the process of continuous program improvement is a top priority for Tulane Med-Peds. All residents are invited to participate in Program Evaluation Committee meetings, which are scheduled throughout the year and structured to identify strengths and opportunities and to develop specific and measurable action plans. At an institutional level, we have had numerous residents serve on the Tulane Resident and Fellow Congress as well as the Graduate Medical Education Committee.
