Neurology Residency Application & Interview

Ideal Residency Applicants:

Candidates must have passed all the United States Medical Licensing Education (USMLE) steps including CS (if you have taken it prior to the Step 2 CS postponement) on the first attempt. An ideal candidate would receive USMLE scores of a Pass on Step 1 and over 230 on Step 2, however we will consider all passing scores in the application review process.

Only IMGs with status in the U.S. will be considered. Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate is not required to interview, but ideally is on file when rank list is submitted. We acknowledge the process and timeline for ECFMG certification is different this year and will evaluate each application on their merits as long as they have applied for certification. J-1 visa sponsorship is available

An ideal candidate has graduated from medical school within the last five years but this can be considered on an individual basis if all other criteria are met and the candidate is exceptional.

Our interviews are on Mondays and applicants are encouraged to meet our residents for a casual online gathering the Sunday evening prior. The interview day begins around 9:30 am CST and will end by 3:00 pm CST.

We do not offer pre-match positions, observerships, or externships.

Applications for positions in our program are accepted through ERAS only.
