Oriana Sanchez, MD

Dr. Oriana Sanchez, a fellowship-trained vascular neurologist, has joined the Tulane Department of Neurology as a part of our stroke team. She earned her medical degree from Universidad de Carabobo in Carabobo, Venezuela, and completed her neurology residency training at University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Earlier this year, Dr. Sanchez completed her Vascular Neurology Fellowship at UT Houston. 

On October 1st we welcomed Dr. Sanchez to the Tulane Department of Neurology as an Assistant Professor. She will be providing stroke services as a part of the LCMC system.
