From WWL-TV: Tulane cardiac team brings man back to life

A Mississippi man has much to be thankful for this year. Doctors at a small hospital on the North Shore thought Benny Nunez was brain-dead after experiencing heart failure. The physicians reached out to the Tulane Interventional Cardiology team at East Jefferson General Hospital, a group that came to New Orleans earlier this year to restart the transplant and advanced heart failure program.
