We believe it is our duty to mold future public health and preventive medicine physician leaders who champion justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, to create a society where everyone has the chance to live their healthiest life possible.
It is our responsibility as a Preventive Medicine Residency Program, and as part of a larger Tulane institution, to critically address the harms of implicit and explicit bias, within our institution and surrounding communities.
We strive to be an accepting and inclusive program that fosters the values of residents, faculty, and mentors with diverse and intersecting backgrounds (including but not limited to ethnicity, social, economic, professional, geographic, spiritual, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability etc.)
