About the Clinical Research Program
The goal of the Clinical Research Program is to identify, recruit, and train the best possible
candidates from diverse academic backgrounds for sustainable careers in clinical research (academia, industry, and foundations). Qualified scholars who are underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply.
The curriculum is designed for clinicians and translational researchers who aspire to a sustainable professional career in clinical or translational research. Candidates should hold an MD, PharmD, DNS, DVM, or PhD in an appropriate discipline

Tulane Doctors – Connected Care specializes in caring for the most vulnerable patients – physically frail, elderly people with complex, chronic health issues.
Our mission is to harness the resources in the clinic and the community to creatively get people invested in their health and the health of their community.
Our Internal Medicine clinics provide excellent care in the areas of wellness, prevention, management of chronic illness, and acute care for adults.
Interdisciplinary PhD
Tulane’s Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Sciences offers an interdisciplinary and highly customizable graduate experience designed to support diverse career goals. Students receive full financial support, including tuition, health insurance, and a $35,000 annual stipend. The program emphasizes early coursework in core scientific disciplines, hands-on research through lab rotations, and mentorship from over 100 faculty across basic science and clinical departments. Located in vibrant New Orleans, the program combines academic rigor with a culturally rich setting.
