My Favorite Place/Thing in New Orleans
The people are my favorite thing in New Orleans - everyone here is incredibly welcoming and while walking around the city you feel the same Esprit de Corps that we have built in our residency program. Everywhere I go, I end up in a conversation with a stranger about my day, their day, or something going on in the city.
My favorite place is City Putt in Mid-City: my wife (an EM resident) and I have heated battles there and loser buys the other a snow cone at the stand outside the course. It's situated in a beautiful park (City Park) that has lots of acres to walk around and also a lake for canoeing and kayaking.
