Firm Chief Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA Undergraduate and Major: University of Virginia, Biology with a specialization in Environmental and Biological Conservation Medical School: Tulane University School of Medicine Career Goals: GI, Transplant Hepatology Why I Love Tulane IM: There is no better place to grow and become the doctor that you want to be than at Tulane. Everyone is extremely supportive in helping you achieve your goals. I especially love the patients for whom I have cared. They are extremely appreciative and many are very sick and provide exposure to interesting pathologies. Many patients are underserved and have no where else to go for care, and we at Tulane have a mission to help everyone in need of care. There is a challenge in navigating our health care system to get what our patients need, but training at Tulane instills a sense of advocacy for our patients that is unrivaled anywhere in the country. Favorite Part of New Orleans: There is always something to do and always something great to eat for everyone! Hobbies: Playing euphonium/baritone, plant identification (specifically trees), BODYPUMP, CrossFit |
