Biography

Dr. Ray Su, a distinguished academic with a multidisciplinary background, holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics and Data Science, along with Master's degrees in Public Health and Health Information Management. He currently serves as an instructor in the research track within the Division of Biomedical Informatics and Genomics, where he is recognized as a leading expert in data science for complex diseases. His specialization lies in data-driven approaches for multi-omics applications. His research is primarily focused on developing advanced statistical and machine learning methods for the integration of high-dimensional data, including genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, and metabolomics data. This work aims to identify potential biomarkers for conditions such as osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and aging-related diseases. Furthermore, Dr. Su has led multiple data enrichment projects aimed at enhancing the utilization of multi-omics data and advancing method development for robust and innovative analytics.
