Biography

Dr. Yinghua Jiang is a neuroscientist focused on acute brain injuries, including ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Upon the completion of his undergraduate degree in medicine at Chongqing Medical University in China, he joined Dr. Xiaoying Wang’s lab as a visiting scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2013 and has gained extensive experience conducting the research of acute brain injury in multiple animal models and produced several first author publications, including in Stroke and Translational Stroke Research. In 2019, Dr. Jiang received his PhD degree in Neurosurgery/Neuroscience from Chongqing Medical University and has continued to progress his work in Dr. Xiaoying Wang’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow at the Clinical Neuroscience Research Center for further extending his expertise on translational stroke research.
