Biography

Chad Lahman is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He joined the faculty of the Tulane University School of Medicine, Section of Cardiology as an Instructor of Medicine in January of 2024 and specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. Chad earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015. He worked as a Registered Nurse at the Level 1 trauma center at Interim LSU Hospital (ILH) and University Medical Center of New Orleans (UMCNO) for four years, where he gained valuable experience in emergency medicine and critical care. After obtaining his Master of Science of Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2019, Chad spent five years refining his clinical skills and patient care expertise in the urgent care setting.
