Mark Cassidy, MD

Biography

Mark Cassidy, MD graduated from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. He then received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine before completing an internship, residency, and fellowship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in Jefferson, Louisiana. After finishing a year-long fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco, Dr. Cassidy returned to New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine, where he serves as a Professor of Medicine. Between his clinical work and academic endeavors, Dr. Cassidy finds time to engage in many community organizations in and around New Orleans, including the Louisiana Landmarks Society, the Louisiana Preservation Alliance and the Friends of St. Alphonsus.
