Biography

Dr. Marlowe Maylin is the Hospitalist Medical Director for Tulane Medical Center, Assistant Professor of Medicine, and an academic hospitalist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and then a Medical Degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine.  Dr. Maylin completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2006.  Dr. Maylin joined the Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics after completion of residency.  She is currently an academic hospitalist working at Tulane Medical Center where she teaches both residents and students and serves on various committees such as Utilization, Ethics, and Peer Review. In 2011 she was awarded Outstanding Teaching Faculty in Internal Medicine by the Internal Medicine residents.
