Dr. Brian Lewis received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2005. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2008 and in 2011 completed a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology also at Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lewis joined the faculty of the Tulane University School of Medicine Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology in July 2011 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. He has a dual appointment with Tulane University where he focuses on the treatment of cancer of the genitourinary system and with the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System where he practices general hematology and medical oncology.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
