Biography

Dr. Oliver Sartor is an internationally renowned oncologist and research scientist specializing in prostate cancer. He received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1982 with honors.  After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Tulane and a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Sartor has dedicated his career to advancing prostate cancer research and treatment.  His expertise is widely recognized, as evidenced by his roles as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Clinical Genitourinary Cancer and his past chairmanship of the Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Integration Panel.  He has authored over 500 peer-reviewed articles and served as principal investigator or co-principal investigator on multiple pivotal clinical trials leading to FDA drug approvals for the treatment of prostate cancer.
