Biography
Dr. Margie Kahn became Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Associate Clinical Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology in November of 2009. She received her MD from Tulane University in 1984, completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Downtown Hospital in 1990, and her fellowship in urogynecology at St. George's Hospital in London, UK in 1997. After achieving tenure at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, she worked two years at Southern California Permanente Medical Group before coming to New Orleans. Dr. Kahn has authored numerous publications, presented at international meetings, and is a member of the Editorial Board of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, the Official Journal of the American Urogynecologic Society.
