Why did you choose Tulane?

I chose Tulane because I love how diverse the program is! We have residents and faculty from all backgrounds of life. I also love the fact that the program focuses so heavily on advocacy and that we get to a see a wide range of patients from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Plus, New Orleans is such a unique and fun city to live in! There's always something to do here! 

What are you areas of interest within the field of Pediatrics?

I enjoy just about everything! But right now I'm leaning towards Endocrine, with a focus on transgender health. 

What are your interests outside of medicine?

I love to bake, especially when I'm stressed! I also enjoy biking around the city, DIY projects, exploring new restaurants, and watching trashy reality TV (my guilty pleasure!)
