Hometown:  San Jose, CA / Hyderabad, India 

Career Plans:  Not 100% sure what to specialize i yet, but definitely want to study international medicine and go into humanitarian aid. 

Why Tulane?  The patient population is so diverse and unique - from their culture to the problems they face on a day to day basis with regard to overall health.  There is always something to learn - learning how to get creative with finding the best options for our patients has been my favorite part of residency so far. 

Favorite things about NOLA:  Magazine Street and my co-interns.  Parish Parlor (on Magazine St.) ice cream after a hectic wards day gives me life. 

Fun & Hobbies:  I love to read - favorite genre is historical fiction. Current favorite book (early intern year) is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.  I like to listen to and sing Indian classical carnatic music/fusion and I'm unapologetically a BTS fan!
