Mallory Monaco Caterine, PhD

Professor Monaco Caterine earned her PhD at Princeton University, writing a dissertation on the significance of the Hellenistic past in Plutarch's Lives. Her research and teaching interests include: post-classical Greek cultural history and prose literature; and leadership in the ancient world, with a focus on tyrants and women. She has co-organized two online ancient leadership syllabi as well as an online conference on the teaching of leaders and leadership through Classics, and continues to promote a humanistic approach to leadership education inside and outside of academia.
