Allison Boothe Trigg, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, associate professor, and the psychology division chief in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Tulane University School of Medicine where she co-developed the TIKES infant and early childhood mental health consultation model. She is the Executive Director of Tulane Mental Health Consultation Services (T-MHCS) and the director of the statewide TIKES early childhood consultation program, which has served Louisiana early care and education sites since 2007 under her direction. Dr. Trigg has published peer-reviewed articles on IECMHC and is a regular contributor to the National Center of Excellence for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation. She is also a founding member of the RAINE group, which is dedicated to moving the IECMHC field forward in practice, policy, and research. Dr. Trigg has been appointed by two governors to serve on the Louisiana Early Childhood Commission, which makes recommendations to the Louisiana Legislature each year. Her research interests focus on evaluating IECMHC to discover the pathways through which it works and how to best support early childhood caregivers.
